Madame Tussauds Beijing, which opened 11 years ago, will permanently close on Oct. 1 due to an expiring premises lease and brand strategy adjustments, its operator said today, adding that most of the figures in the wax museum will be moved to other locations in China, while some will be retired. Visitors can still go along to Madame Tussauds in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Wuhan.
