Chinese self-driving driving technology startup WeRide announced yesterday that its mass-produced Robotaxi GXR launched 24/7 fully driverless commercial operation in Guangzhou’s Huangpu district, marking the industry’s first point-to-point autonomous ride-hailing service in a core area of a first-tier city.
