The core equipment of the China-made Centrifugal Hypergravity and Interdisciplinary Experiment Facility, was put into operation today in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, CCTV reported. The facility will serve as a powerful booster for multidisciplinary research, including deep-sea energy development, earthquake-resistant building design, nuclear waste treatment, and new material research and development.
