(Yicai Global) June 26 -- The assistant to TikTok’s chief executive will become the ByteDance-owned short video platform's new head of operations after Vanessa Pappas stepped down as chief operating officer, it has been reported.
Adam Presser, who was previously an executive at WarnerMedia Holdings, the former parent company of The Cable News Network, will become TikTok's new COO, The Paper said today, citing a source.
Zenia Mucha, former chief communications officer of The Walt Disney Company, will become TikTok's new chief brand and communications officer to oversee global marketing and communications, the source also added, without disclosing further information.
Pappas announced on Twitter on June 23 that she would leave her post after nearly five years at the firm. She was TikTok’s highest-ranking executive in the United States at the time.
