(Yicai Global) July 24 -- A report by Fudan University on how to help Chinese mainstream media communicate better on international platforms was the focus of attention at the second China Media Group Forum held in Shanghai last week.
China’s mainstream media has made great strides in international communication by being active on global platforms such as Twitter and Facebook and taking the initiative to make their voices heard, according to the Global Mainstream Media’s Online Communication Ability Research Report that was released at a sub-forum on the theme of the responsibility of media to change the world on July 21.
More than 230 representatives from Chinese and foreign businesses, international organizations and the media attended the event, which was sponsored by China Media Group and the Shanghai government, both online and in person.
