(Yicai Global) Nov. 20 -- A-shares fell across the board in trading this morning reflecting slumps overseas, with the brokerage sector leading the decline.

The Shanghai Composite Index decreased 1.63 percent to 2,659.37 points this morning with CNY111.6 billion (USD16.1 billion) exchanged, and the Shenzhen Component Index closed down 1.95 percent at 7,950.64 points, turning over CNY145.9 billion. The ChiNext Price Index slumped 1.91 percentto 1,367.77 points with turnover of CNY39.8 billion.

The brokerage sector fell more than 3.3 percent overall.
