(Yicai Global) Dec. 13 -- A-shares continued to rise this morning after a positive opening, driven by infrastructure and brokerage stocks, to close significantly higher at lunch.

The Shanghai Composite Index closed for lunch at 2,643.80 points, up 1.60 percent, with a turnover of CNY80.7 billion (USD11.73 billion). The Shenzhen Composite Index rose 1.9 percent to 7,844.50 points with CNY102.8 billion exchanged.

The Growth Enterprise Index closed at 1,356.78 points this morning, up 1.35 percent with CNY30.4 billion exchanged.
