(Yicai Global) Nov. 20 -- China's stock market fell sharply todaywith the Growth Enterprise Marketindex taking the biggest hit.

The Shanghai index fell 2.13 percent to 2,645.85 points this afternoon with CNY180.9 billion (USD 26.1 billion) exchanged, while the Shenzhen Component Index closed down 2.83 percent at 7,879.52 points, turning over some CNY241 billion.The ChiNext Price Index slumped 2.8 percentto 1,355.33 points with a turnover of CNY66.8 billion.
