(Yicai Global) Jan. 31 -- Special adhesive tape producer Aozon Electronic Material Co. raised tens of millions of yuan in recent A-round financing as it looks to provide a wide range of customizable products based on customer demands.

The Dongguan-based form's funding was led by Shenzhen Guozhong Venture Capital Management Co. and also included equity investment funds based on bank loans through China Merchants Bank's Spread Your Wings program, the firm said in a press briefing yesterday.

"The company will move further into the lithium batteries sector. We aim to develop elaborate, differentiated and personalized adhesive tapes and other adhesive products according to customer needs", said Chen Peng, general manager at Aozon Electronic Material.

Aozon Electronic's products include adhesive technology solutions related to lithium batteries used in wearable devices and other intelligent devices. It has established a research and development lab by teaming up with the Chinese Academy of Sciences' Institute of Engineering.
