(Yicai Global) Dec. 18 -- B-Soft Co. [SHE:300451] will work with Big Data technology developer United Electronics Co. [SHE:002642] to carry out strategic cooperation in the field of healthcare to add gene database to patients' electronic health records.
The pair signed a strategic cooperation agreement on Dec. 16 to give full play to their respective advantages, said the Hangzhou-based software development company in a statement yesterday. The cooperation will focus on gene resources digitalization of residents' health records, as well as joint research and applications. A gene database will be added to health records through an industry alliance under the guidance of the government, it added.
Both companies will provide data support for major disease prevention, environmental intervention and early diagnosis and treatment through investment and construction of residents' health data center, gene sample library, genetic information base and DNA sequencing platform and biomics Big Data analysis and application platform, the statement explained.
Both parties will also work together to develop a new format of Big Data applications in healthcare. They will incubate and introduce new industries such as disease prevention, cloud health, VR and medical resources integration through industrial platform and industrial fund, said the statement.
