(Yicai Global) July 3 -- A man poured a bottle of water over Baidu Chief Executive Robin Li today after storming a stage from where the billionaire co-founder of China's largest search engine was giving a speech on his company's autonomous car development.

"What's your problem?," Li called after his assailant in English. He then told his audience that various things will happen during the development of artificial intelligence, but the determination to move forward will not change, and AI will change everyone's lives. The audience applauded.

Li was speaking at the Baidu Create 2019, the company's annual AI developer conference.
