(Yicai Global) Sept. 13 -- The Guangdong-based Bluedon Information Security Technologies Co. [SHE:300297] won the joint bid for an information system procurement project worth CNY56.08 million (USD8.5 million), and participated in a 'smart town' project in Hunan Province.
The consortium comprising the company's wholly-owned subsidiary Bluedon Information Security Technology Co. and China Mobile Communications Corporation Hunan Company Limited Zhuzhou branch won the bid for the procurement project tendered out by Zhuzhou municipal government. Bluedon will provide information systems and operation services for the local 'smart Lukou' project, the company said today.
Lukou is a small town in Zhuzhou City. It covers an area of 64.7 square kilometers and has a population of about 78,000. It has built a provincial-level economic development zone, public data shows.
The project includes the construction of information center's computer rooms, command and control centers, software platforms, and the service outlet facilities. Relevant communication technologies will be supplied by China Mobile Zhuzhou Branch, while information technologies will be provided by Bluedon.
Bluedon is mainly engaged in product research and development in the information security field. It is a member of the International Cloud Security Alliance, public data shows.
