Buyers Spent Nearly USD35.2 Billion During Shanghai's Double Five in May(Yicai Global) June 3 -- Consumers in Shanghai have splurged almost CNY250 billion (USD35.2 billion) in the first month of the city's Double Five shopping festival that started on May 5, according to the municipal government.
By May 31, offline sales made up nearly 60 percent of the total of CNY244.4 billion, the administration said at a press conference today.
