(Yicai Global) July 18 --  China's Contemporary Amperex Technology and Japan's Toyota Motor will  join hands to make more advanced battery systems for new energy  vehicles. 

CATL and Toyota will  collaborate to improve their power unit quality, secure supplies, and  recycle old products, the Tokyo-headquartered firm said in a statement  yesterday.
