(Yicai Global) June 14 -- The western Chinese city of Chengdu has issued a new policy to encourage local firms to list on the upcoming Shanghai sci-tech board, officially known as the SSE STAR market.

Local authorities will reward companies approved for a listing with CNY2 million (USD300,000) before an extra CNY8 million post-issuance. Listers that move to Chengdu will also receive CNY6 million.
