(Yicai Global) April 7 -- China's State Council has approved Baise, a city in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region near the Vietnam border, as the country's eighth key pilot zone for development and opening up to enhance communication and cooperation with countries in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
Baise will be the third such zone in Guangxi, the cabinet said today. It has been building pilot zones since 2011 and has two in Yunnan province, two in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and one in Heilongjiang province.
