(Yicai Global) April 22 -- China's BAK Battery has agreed a deal to buy 120 million square-meters of lithium battery separator from Senior  Technology Material this year. 

The Shenzhen-based pair inked a procurement framework agreement based on  their intention to work together in the long-term, Senior Technology  said in a statement on April 19.

The two parties will pen a specific order deal with determined quantity and  price after Senior Technology provides trial lithium battery diaphragm  products based on BAK's technical requirements.

Besides BAK, Senior Technology also provides its products to firms including Japan's Murata Manufacturing. The two penned an agreement last July for  the supply of around 250 million square-meters of separators over five  years. 

Senior Technology's key domestic clients include lithium battery manufacturers  Farasis Energy and Guoxuan High-Tech Power Energy.
