(Yicai Global) Oct. 16 -- China CAMC Engineering, a unit of National Machinery Industry, has secured a USD224 million electrical infrastructure contract in Uganda.
China CAMC penned a contact with the Uganda Electricity Transmission Company, a state-owned power grid operator, regarding a project involving transmission lines and transformers in industrial parks and a free trade zones in eastern and central parts of the African country, the Beijing-based firm said in a statement. The construction period is three years.
The share price of China CAMC [SZE:002051] rose by 2.5 percent to CNY10.35 (USD1.50) in the afternoon.
