(Yicai Global) Aug. 13 -- China's stock markets continued to slide after opening down, with financial and insurance companies logging the largest declines.
The Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.7 percent to 2,794.07 in the morning session. The Shenzhen Component Index dropped 1 percent to 8,885.82. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, slid 1.2 percent to 1,522.18.
