(Yicai Global) Aug. 2 -- Hengtong Optic-Electric will sell submarine cable to a large offshore wind power project that is built by an affiliate of state-owned China General Nuclear Power Group in eastern China's Fujian province.

Hengtong won a bid to provide submarine cable for Shenzhen-based China Nuclear Power Engineering's 300MW offshore project, the Jiangsu-based cable maker said in a statement. The contract is worth CNY210 million (USD30.8 million).

Hengtong has won tenders to sell its submarine cable in several provinces including Liaoning, Hebei, Jiangsu, and Guangdong. The firm has also won a bid to become the supplier for wind farms in Portugal and in Chile.
