China's Industrial Added Value Climbed 4.4% in May China's Industrial Added Value Climbed 4.4% in May

(Yicai Global) June 15 -- Big Chinese industrial firms increased their value-added output by 4.4 percent in May from a year ago, which is 0.5 percentage point above April's equivalent, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.

The value-added output of designated large enterprises with annual turnover of at least CNY20 million (USD2.9 million) climbed 1.5 percent from a month earlier, the NBS added.

From January to May, the tally declined by 5.6 percent from a year ago.
