(Yicai Global) Sept. 2 -- China's Logistics Prosperity Index dropped 0.2 percentage percent to 50.9 on a monthly basis last month, while the new order index climbed 0.2 point to 50.7, the Shanghai-based China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing under the Ministry of Commerce announced today.
The index showed a cyclical decline, dragged down by climate factors by the eastern region, but still remained above the 50 mark indicating industrial expansion, said He Hui, deputy director at the China Logistics Information Center.
