(Yicai Global) Dec. 27 -- China has reduced its requirements for military equipment makers to allow more service providers to enter the field of national defense.
The State Administration of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence, along with an equipment bureau under the Ministry of National Defence released a new catalogue today, which has crimped the number of restrictions down by 62 percent to 285 items from the year of 2015. Missiles and carrier rockets still remain in the no-go zone of seven categories.
Set up in 1999, the licensing system has been updated for five times.
