(Yicai Global) Dec. 4 -- China's mainland stock markets closed mixed at lunchtime after opening lower.

The Shanghai Composite Index ended the morning 0.34 percent lower at 2,874.88, while the Shenzhen Component Index was at 9,675.04, up 0.18 percent. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, slid 0.07 percent to 1,674.30 in the morning session.
