(Yicai Global) Dec. 26 -- China's mainland stock markets maid steady gains in today's afternoon session as the Shenzhen benchmark finished higher for the third day on the trot.

The Shanghai Composite Index closed 0.85 percent higher at 3,007.35. while the Shenzhen Component Index was finished 10,303.72, up 0.72 percent. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, finished up 0.52 percent at 1,793.64.
