(Yicai Global) June 26 -- China's mainland stock markets closed mixed today after rollercoaster morning and afternoon session. Small-cap firms, especially those in tech sectors, performed better than the blue chips.

The Shanghai Composite Index closed 0.2 percent lower at 2,976.28. The Shenzhen Component Index finished at 9,122.43, up 0.05 percent, and the ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, ended 0.4 percent higher at 1,504.55.
