(Yicai Global) June 28 -- China's mainland stock markets opened slightly lower this morning after a solid performance yesterday.

The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.15 percent lower at 2,992.24. The Shenzhen Component Index started at 9,236.06, down 0.04 percent and the ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, began 0.1 percent lower at 1,523.79.
