(Yicai Global) April 17 -- Stock markets on the Chinese mainland opened mixed this morning after yesterday's surge. The Shanghai Composite Index started down 0.11 percent at 3,250.15 while the Shenzhen Component Index began roughly even at 10,288.45. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, opened 0.1 percent higher at 1,699.19.
