(Yicai Global) Aug. 20 -- China's mainland stock markets opened mixed this morning after a significant rise yesterday. 

The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.14 percent lower at 2,879.08. The Shenzhen Component Index was at 9,340.66, up 0.13 percent, and the ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, started 0.12 percent higher at 1,624.80.
