(Yicai Global) March 5 -- Chinese mainland stock markets reversed their weakening trend at the opening from investors taking profits.
The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 3,031.00, up 0.11 percent, with CNY222.8 billion (USD33.3 billion) swapped, while the Shenzhen Component Index went up 0.81 percent to close at 9,460.85, churning over CNY 291.4 billion. The ChiNext price Index, which tracks Shenzhen's growth enterprises, gained 1.23 percent to 1,639.67, with CNY 88.9 billion in turnover.
