China's Mainland Stocks Close Down in Morning

(Yicai Global) March 7 -- Chinese mainland stocks regained some of the ground they had lost after falling sharply this morning, with the securities and tech sectors leading the rise.

The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 3,101.60, down 0.02 percent after flipping CNY323.2 billion (USD48.2 billion), while the Shenzhen Component Index dropped 0.65 percent to 9,636.99, and swapped over CNY385.6 billion. 

The ChiNext price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, scaled down 0.89 percent to 1,685.41 on turnover of CNY114.8 billion.
