(Yicai Global) April 24 -- China's stock market closed higher with the ChiNext up 2 percent and many hydrogen stocks hitting the 10 percent limit up bourse rules impose.

The Shanghai Composite Index was up 0.09 percent at 3,201.61 on a volume of CNY278.4 billion (USD41.4 billion). The Shenzhen Component Index climbed 1.1 percent to close at 1,0162.38 on turnover of CNY373.9 billion. The ChiNext index rose 2.08 percent to end at 1,690.28, with CNY99.6 billion traded.

Hydrogen energy and fuel cell sectors scaled up again with more than 10 stocks bumping against the glass ceiling. Pork, voice technology, software and flexible screens were also among the star performers.

Industrial park development, free-trade ports and marine equipment led the losers.
