(Yicai Global) Sept. 26 -- China's stock markets closed mixed in late trading on Tuesday, with two mainboard indices reversed downward trend, while the Growth Enterprise Index lost further ground. The turnover of two markets also shrank significantly as the week-long National Day holiday is approaching.

The Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.06 percent to 3,343.58 points at closing, with CNY159 billion exchanged.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed at 10,950.77 points, up 0.18 percent, turning over CNY242.4 billion.

The Growth Enterprise Index fell to 1,839.46 points, down 0.23 percent, with turnover of CNY76.3 billion.
