(Yicai Global) Sept. 7 -- The three major indices of China's stock markets closed lower in the afternoon trade on Thursday. The Shanghai Composite Index dropped below the 10-day moving average of 3,366.57 points at the close of the afternoon session.

The Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.59 percent to 3,365.50 points, down from 3,387.80 points it reached during the intraday trading.

The Shenzhen Component Index slipped 0.50 percent at 10,969.13 points.

The Growth Enterprise Index was down 0.66 percent at 1,890.38 points.

The stocks related to the Hangzhou Asian Games soared 3.21 percent. The stocks related to the electronic equipment manufacturing firms soared 1.33 percent. The real estate developers sector performed strongly.

However, the stocks related to face-recognition technology dropped 2.48 percent. The stock related to the coal mining and China's national oil firms under the reform policy fell 1.86 and 1.83 percent, respectively.
