(Yicai Global) Dec. 25 -- China's mainland stock markets moved in a narrow range this afternoon and finished Christmas Day at nearly similar readings as during lunchtime. 

The Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.03 percent to 2,981.88. The Shenzhen Component Index was at 10,229.58, up 0.4 percent. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, rose 0.82 percent to 1,784.39.
