China's Stock Markets Fizzle in Afternoon

(Yicai Global) Nov. 29 -- China's A-share market of domestic shares came off morning highs today, as securities,5th generation mobile communications network and Hainan province-based stocks slumped. The three benchmark indexes plunged with trade volume swollen in the afternoon session.

The Shanghai Composite Index ended down 1.32 percent at 2,567.44 points, with CNY129.5 billion (USD18.66 billion) worth of stocks changing hands, while the Shenzhen Component Index dipped 2.06 percent to 7,597.01 points after churning over CNY181.1 billion. The ChiNext Price Index closed down 2.11 percent at 1,312.72 points on turnover of CNY56 billion.
