(Yicai Global) Nov. 21 -- After a strong rebound yesterday afternoon, China's Stock Markets opened slightly lower today, then rose steadily in ensuing trading.

Markets revived yesterday following Friday's heavy losses.

Shenzhen in particular closed up over 1 percent, with small-cap companies leading the parade.

At 10:15 a.m. today, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.58 percent to 3,412.16 points after opening 0.30% lower. The Shenzhen Component Index was up 1.14 percent to 11,567.95 points after being down 0.17 percent at opening. The Growth Enterprise Index, mostly comprising small-cap companies, rose 0.61 percent to 1,871.04 points after opening 0.17 percent lower.
