(Yicai Global) Nov. 20 -- Following Friday's poor showing, China's Stock Markets opened even lower this morning, with the main indexes plumbing depths unseen since October.

The markets crashed in Friday's trading, with the Shenzhen Component Index and the Growth Enterprise Index, mostly comprising small-cap companies, both down more than 2 percent.

After opening 0.64 percent lower, the Shanghai Composite Index reached a nadir of 3,337.68 points around 9:40 a.m. today, its lowest trench since Sept. 29. The Shenzhen Component Index also dropped 1.82 percent to 11,087.53 points, its greatest plunge since Oct. 9, following an opening of 0.58 percent lower.

The Growth Enterprise Index fared the worst after opening 0.80 percent down, falling 2.03 percent to 1,795.69 points, its deepest trough since Aug. 28.
