(Yicai Global) Nov. 10 -- China's stock markets saw mixed trading in the early session Friday, unable to maintain the upward momentum seen yesterday afternoon, as market players remain cautious about the future direction of the price trend.
The indexes surged to their highest closing points for 22 months in late trading yesterday following lackluster activity for most of the day.
At 10:15 am, the Shanghai Composite Index was down 0.14 percent at 3,423.05 points after opening 0.13 percent lower.
The Shenzhen Component Index was up 0.26 percent to 11,583.89 points after falling 0.11 percent at the opening.
The Growth Enterprise Index, mostly comprising small-cap companies was up 0.80 percent to 1,899.30 points, after opening with a 0.07 percent decline.
