(Yicai Global) Dec. 4 -- China's stock markets saw mixed trading in the early session today, with investors remaining cautious after a recent broad-based selloff.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose as high as 3,450 points, a 22-month high, in early November, but has been sloping down ever since. At 10:10 am today, the index was down 0.13 percent at 3,313.47 points, after opening 0.22 percent lower.
The Shenzhen Component Index was at 11,045.12 points, up 0.29 percent after opening down 0.05 percent.
The Growth Enterprise Index, made up mostly of small-cap companies, was down 0.07 percent at 1,803.34 points after opening down 0.09 percent.
