(Yicai Global) Sept. 20 -- China's stock markets were buoyant for the entire day at this evening's close, with Shenzhen's market poised at a high since Jan. 6 last year.

The Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.27 percent at the close to 3,366.00 points, turning over CNY225.8 billion.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed at the new high for 20 months to 11,191.13 points, up 0.97 percent, with CNY315.9 billion exchanged.

The Growth Enterprise Index raised 0.66 percent to 1,892.67 points at the closing bell, turnover was CNY84.8 billion.
