China's Stocks Down as Securities Shares Lead the Race for the Bottom(Yicai Global) Sept. 19 -- China's stock markets cascaded this afternoon, with securities shares among the biggest losers.
The Shanghai Composite Index shed 0.18 percent to 3,356.84 points at the close, turning over CNY220.7 billion.
The Shenzhen Component Index closed at 11,083.90 points, down 0.62 percent, with CNY303.1 billion swapped.
The Growth Enterprise Index edged down 0.77 percent to 1,880.30 points, with turnover of CNY82.2 billion.
