(Yicai Global) Nov. 11 -- Guangtai Airport Equipment, a leading Chinese manufacturer of airport equipment, will provide Switzerland’s Swissport International, the world’s largest airport ground services provider, with equipment and personnel training over the next three years.

Guangtai will supply Opfikon-based Swissport, which provides aviation services to 300 airports worldwide, with equipment and the training needed to use it until Sept. 30, 2024, the Weihai, northeastern Shandong province-based firm said yesterday.

The deal will promote Guangtai’s products on the global market and greatly improve its business performance over the next three years, it said. The company said in July that it will set up a subsidiary in Limburg, Germany to better explore the European airport market.

Guangtai’s stock price [SHE:002111] closed up 0.49 percent at CNY12.30 (USD1.92) per share today.
