(Yicai) June 5 -- Haxc Holdings, a Chinese manufacturer of vehicle-mounted screen equipment, has become the designated designer and supplier of display equipment for a leading Asian flying car maker.

Haxc received a notice to become the designated equipment supplier from an Asian flying car maker, the Beijing-based company announced yesterday.

Haxc acquired the qualification to develop and supply cockpit and instrument display system terminal products for the client's low-altitude flying vehicle, the firm added.

The deal is another key achievement Haxc made in expanding its smart cockpit terminal business, the company said, noting that the smooth delivery of the project will help Haxc increase its operating performance in future years.

Haxc directly or indirectly serves most Chinese automakers. Its core display parts have been equipped on hot-selling car models of over 10 mainstream vehicle brands, including BYD, Ford Motor, SAIC Motor, Huawei supported Seres Group, Xpeng Motors, and Li Auto, according to Haxc's latest annual earnings report.

Haxc's shares [SHE: 300928] closed unchanged at CNY39.85 (USD5.50) in Shenzhen today, after earlier gaining as much as 8.6 percent.
