(Yicai Global) Oct. 24 -- Beijing Shenzhou Guangda Science and Technology Co. has secured CNY80 million (USD12.05 million) in B-round funding led by Junhe Capital.

Shenzhou Guangda operates Shenxing Yunshou, a mobile app which gathers computing engineers from across the country and matches them with companies seeking information technology services.

Some 40 percent of the engineers on the app are freelancers, while many are comprehensive IT service teams.

Corporate clients create projects on the app, which will source engineers suited to the task by scanning their profiles and examining their degree major, soft skills, availability and service locations.

Shenzhou Guangda also undertakes and assigns its own projects as an outsourcer on the platform, which founder Gao Feng describes as a business-to-business-to-consumer model.

The company recently released a Shenxing training platform, through which senior engineers can share their experience and charge fees to younger workers looking to learn new skills.

The main app has served nearly 1,000 customers to date, covering single-service tasks, complete project services, maintenance and the supply of spare parts.
