(Yicai Global) March 16 -- China's mainland stock markets opened higher this morning as bargain hunters emerged to take advantage of the coronavirus-hit prices.
The Shanghai Composite Index started 0.34 percent up at 2,897.30. The Shenzhen Component Index climbed 0.34 percent to 10,867.66. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, edged up 0.21 percent to 2,034.75.
