(Yicai Global) May 10 -- Stock markets on China's mainland opened significantly higher this morning as investors bet on a market-friendly result as talks with the US on working out trade policy differences begin.
The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.96 percent higher at 2,878.23, while the Shenzhen Component Index up 1.26 percent at 8,988.92. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, started the day 1.34 percent stronger at 1,489.19.
