A majority of Chinese companies called their employees to get back to their offices yesterday after a Chinese New Year holiday that was prolonged due to the coronavirus epidemic.

At the Shanghai Tower, a notice told visitors to register, wear face masks, and have their temperatures checked out to enter the premises. Symptoms of the new virus include running a fever.

In Guangzhou, a building staff member who was wearing disposable gloves gave an entry pass to a visitor.
