(Yicai Global) Feb. 17 -- Many manufacturers in Shanghai are turning their hand to medical maskmaking as they look to cash in on a national shortage caused by the novel coronavirus epidemic.  The pictures below show several of the firms making the masks and other protective gear now they have secured the relevant licenses.

Workers at SAIC-GM-Wuling, the first auto firm to obtain a medical device business license and pass a professional inspection, making face masks.

Staff at baby clothes maker Shanghai Juchen Dressmaking producing masks and other protective equipment.

Shanghai C&G Safety, which makes industrial uniforms, producing protective clothing for frontline medical personnel and quarantine inspectors.

Workers at C&G which is hoping to make 100,000 items of protective clothing in February and 230,000 in March.
