Chinese SaaS Firm LinkedCare Secures Over USD30.5 Million in Series C2 Round Chinese SaaS Firm LinkedCare Secures Over USD30.5 Million in Series C2 Round

(Yicai Global) Dec. 3 – LinkedCare Information Technology, a Chinese medical inventory management platform developer, has secured more than CNY200 million (USD30.5 million) in its C2 round of financing, led by Lightspeed China Partners and Beijing-based So-Young International.

Existing shareholder Matrix Partners China also participated in this round, the Shanghai-based firm said in a statement today.

China’s business-to-business software-as-a-service market should maintain rapid growth this year, exceeding CNY100 billion (USD15.2 billion) by 2022, benefiting from digitization, according to public data.

Founded in 2015, LinkedCare is riding the SaaS wave by providing more than 30,000 dental and medical aesthetic clinics with cloud computing software for them to manage their equipment procurement.

The company will use the proceeds to strengthen investment in research and development regarding digitization, network building, and smart management software. The firm will add nine regional warehouses in China to expand its reach. It will also form a team to sell large dental care devices to clinics in remote areas.

Special, targeted medical fields should particularly boom as China's healthcare-related SaaS companies are poised to enjoy the market's "fission-like" growth, said Henry Han, founding partner of VC firm Lightspeed China Partners.
